The 2008 Mission Beach Cleanest Court Contest

THE CLEANEST COURT IN MISSION BEACH IN 2008 IS ENSENADA COURT

Each year the Mission Beach Town Council holds a contest to find the cleanest court in Mission Beach. This year's winner is Ensenada Court (bay side). In addition to cleanliness, the judges looked at landscaping, sight lines, and community spirit. The runners up were Anacapa (bay) and Nahant (ocean) with honorable mentions going to Avalon (bay), Brighton (bay), and Redondo (bay).

"The goal of the contest is to raise awareness that Mission Beach is a beautiful beach town with award-winning courts," said event organizer Lee Silber. "The goal is also to encourage the residents of every court to keep their courts clean. In viewing all the courts in Mission Beach this year we discovered a more neglected courts than ever before. Hopefully we can improve upon that next year."

Previous winners of the Mission Beach Cleanest Court Contest Include: Brighton and York (2006) and Redondo (2007).
